Love the skin, but maybe add some more gray colors? Most 'gold' armor is only gold-trimmed, and gilded, what you made, is usually purely for decoration. I suggest making the skin a metallic gray, with golden trim, and make the knee and elbow joints pure gold, with a darker tint around the edges. Also, remove the crown and make a proper full-face or half-face helmet. This will give it a more 'knight-like' feel. Maybe give it a cape with a family crest or a clan symbol?
