I see the ghosts of navigators, but they are lost
As they sail into the sunset, they'll count the cost
As their skeletons accusing emerge from the sea
The sirens of the rocks, they beckon me
After a successful adventure with his crew looting a village on the Mainland, Captain IGEBM and his crew aboard the Scribe's Scourge sailed down to PMC City to stop at the Bilge Rats Tavern for dinner. Little did he know that someone among his crew had been plotting against him, and had been practicing black magic, using a spell to curse his lemonade with a skeleton curse. As IGE sat at the bar chatting with the bartender, Captain Clay, he began to feel strange, like his flesh was falling off. Sure enough, he raised his arm and found that there was nothing but a bony hand. The ruthless pirate fell back, his skinless corpse lying on its back on the floor. The body was taken away by Si, who buried it in the PMC City Cemetery, and the traitor - who proclaimed himself to the captain of the Scourge - and his crew fled the city so he could avoid facing punishment for his crimes. This was not the end of IGEBM's story, however. That night, while Si was checking the headstones for erosion, he rose up from his grave and snuck away under the cover of darkness. Stealing a small ship, which he turned into a ghost ship, he sailed away in the rain to forever haunt the traitor that cursed him.
