Welcome to the third entry in my series of skins based on Metallica songs. The song this skin is based on is "Lords of Summer!" I started this in June (I made the base for it), a few days before the first day of summer, but I had to work on other stuff and wasn't able to finish this before the first day, which was when I wanted to post it. The reason I'm posting this on my main account is so I can enter it into the Summer Jam, since I can't enter group content into a jam. Anyways, I had always planned to enter this, but put it off for a while. However, I have nothing better to right now except work on a Transformers fanfic, so here it is!

The theme of "Lords of Summer" was essentially that the summer was coming and the "thawing has begun." It's time for the bands to start playing outdoors in the heat in stadiums, and having fun. The part that really helped me visualize what to make a skin of was the last lyric of the post-chorus, "The lords of summer have returned." So, just to describe this for you guys, this is a skin of one of the Lords of Summer, who has begun to thaw out in late Spring after being frozen for a little over half a year. Once he is fully thawed, he can begin to spread summer heat across the world. (Well, the areas that have summer between June and September.)
