Her brothers were wolf Fenrir and the snake Jormungand. According to the myth, Hel underwent only a partial decomposition - she kept the face and body of a living woman, while her legs were a skeleton. Helium is also presented as a person whose half of the body was human in color, the second terrified by a corpse of rotten-blue color.
