~Inturbidius~

His name comes from the Latin word meaning undisturbed or quiet. Inturbidius lives in the depths of Mt. Olympus where he tastes the blood of all who enter the afterlife. Zeus calls upon him to decide whether or not the souls have lived just lives of praise for the gods. Inturbidius lives in privacy in total and utter quiet. Although he now tastes the blood of mortal souls, he used to hear it. It all changed when the soul of a prayer and worshiper of Hades was entering the afterlife. Hades gave the soul instructions to assassinate Zeus when in the temple of Mt. Olympus. Inturbidius saw this and felt the evil and betrayal in the soul. He went to Zeus and informed him of the situation. Zeus banished the evil soul to the Fields of Punishment in Hades for all eternity. Hades was infuriated and attacked Inturbidius. He slashed his ears so he shall never hear the evil in souls again. Olympus would be filled with evil. But Zeus could not let his sacred temple fall to Hades. He went to Inturbidius in the dark depths of Mt. Olympus. Inturbidius, stricken with fear from the attack and his inability to hear, was whaling gibberish. The damage Hades had done was irreversible. Zeus decided to give Inturbidius a new way to determine the justness in souls. He enlarged his mouth and gave him an unmatched sense of taste. It was so strong he could taste the dust on the other side of the world. Inturbidius helped Zeus rid of all the evil souls in Olympus and peace was restored. Hades was once again defeated.
