A mermaid of Isla Dorada, she was one of thousands of children of the Water god, reveling in the freedom and enchantment of her underwater realm.

Irma's fate took an unexpected turn when she rescued Prince Zephyrus from a shipwreck. Swift and selfless, she brought him safely to dry land and, with the mercurial nature of the sea, continued her life without dwelling on the encounter. Little did she know, Prince Zephyrus became captivated by the memory of the beautiful mermaid who had saved him, setting into motion a quest to find her.

Months of relentless searching led Emperor Tempest, Zephyrus's older brother, to Irma. In a moment that altered the course of her life, she was captured, brought aboard a ship, and taken to the grand Stormspire Palace. There, an aquarium was created for her, and she was presented to Prince Zephyrus on his twenty-first name day.

Despite the initial enchantment, Irma's heart yearned for the sea, and she found solace in the night's embrace to escape toward the waves. However, the transformation from mermaid to human brought unforeseen challenges. Rejected by her brothers and sisters of the sea, Irma faced heartbreak but resolved to embark on her own adventure.
