After the events of Sonic: the movie, Dr. Robotnik is sendded in exile to a mushroom dimension were he finally assumes the name and look of "Dr Eggman", nickname that sonic called him, and return once again to conquer the world with the power of the master emerald and fooling knuckles, the echidna to kill sonic.
