This is a snake named Joe. He is a colubrid, but I don't know his specific species. I drew inspiration from Northern Water Snakes, specifically in the eyes and scale color. I tried to make him a color similar to an adult Water Snake when they turn almost fully gray/black with faint patterning. I then added some patterns on his scales.
