Jonas Savimbi is former leader of the Right-wing political party the National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA) (Portuguese: União Nacional para a Independência Total de Angola) which fought against the communist Popular Movement for Liberation of Angola (MPLA) (Portuguese: Movimento Popular de Libertação de Angola – Partido do Trabalho) from 1975-2002. He was assassinated by Angolan Government troops in the province of Moxico. He was portrayed by Robert Wisdom in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
