From the game Karateka, featured in 1984. The game featured a man in a karate gi going against opponents to save his girlfriend and defeat the evil samurai boss at the end. If you also remember, on youtube there is several videos that are named Ninja works it harder better faster stronger which is Karateka guy dancing to Daft Punk's "Harder better faster stronger". The game was played either on Apple II or NES if i remember clearly.
