Hello once again! Thought I'd give you guys a new skin, but I'm also submitting it to the Original God & Goddess Skin Contest. Even though I am submitting it, this skin still follows my whole Piros stuff.
There are many legends of the Gods of Old on Piros. Most know them through the schools, where they were taught them. There were 6 Gods that the people of Piros have learned about. From them one stood out, that one being Kasari, the Goddess of Nature.
As legend has it, before the people of Piros had settled the majority of the planet, they congregated in 6 cities. Vast beautiful cities. The people of these lands worshiped the Gods. Each city had believed that they were under the protection of a specific god. The city of Jerikko was under the protection of Kasari.
Kasari would help grow the plants in all over Piros, but Jerikko was the only place that she would linger, for Kasari thought the valley that Jerikko was beautiful. She would use her staff of life to grow the most exotic plants in Jerikko. Some of which would only grow there, some of those plants still only ever grow in the old ruins of Jerikko. The ancestors grew to love Kasari, as if she was a mortal woman. This lead to other gods being jealous, they wanted to feel that type of love.
A great war broke out between the cities, but not only the cities were at war, but the gods themselves. Not much is known as to why war broke out between the cities. Kasari was one of the only gods that did not want war, she labored for there to be peace between the gods. The other gods would not listen, so she broke the ultimate rule the gods had set, she descended to her people, and helped them fight in the war. Kasari would use her staff to heal the wounded, she would even fight in the battles. Her people loved her so, that they created a bow that could absorb the energy around her and shoot a pure bolt of light at it's target, never missing.
During the final days of the war, the other gods knew that they could not win unless Kasari was killed. They put their differences aside and joined forces to attack Jerikko. Kasari alongside her people put up a valiant fight, but they were no match for all other 5 gods. In the end it was her old lover Jensi, the God of Light, that had slayed her. When Kasari had fallen, her people stopped fighting. They laid down their arms, and gathered her body. The other armies continued to fight, until the felt guilt. They fought people that would not fight back. The other armies simply stopped fighting the people of Jerikko. The armies left Jerikko to grieve, never returning.
The people of Jerikko brought Kasari's body to the spot that she would grow her flowers. They built her a pylon, and buried her in it. Around the pylon, beautiful flowers instantly grew and these flowers started to grow all over Jerikko. To this day those flowers, now know as Kasrees, are only found in the old Jerikko ruins.
Some say that the pylon is still out in the Jerikko ruins, but none have found it yet.
