Superheroes are pretty cool, but they're pretty unrealistic. Nobody really goes around fighting crime in a colorful costume. But what if someone really became a masked crime fighter and took on criminals?...

That is the concept behind kick-ass, a film about a teenager, Dave Lizewski, becoming a masked crimefighter. After failing pretty badly, he's taken to the hospital, where his nerve endings get screwed up, making him immune to pain. Someone catches his next fight on video, and Kick-ass becomes famous.

When I was trying to decide what character to pick, I wanted to do someone who wasn't as common. This was the first superhero who came to mind. It's a funny movie, and an easy character to skin.
