lace is a test subject who was frozen in time but they didnet know the further you go in time the years go back in time we could say but what realy happend is that they killed them selfs with a deadly gas in a giant war after he woke up he came out of the tube he was frozen in he went to the surface and blacked out with no idea besides all he knew was he had to survive when he woke up
