Lorian, Elder Prince was a member of the Lothric royal family. He was so powerful that he even defeated the Demon Prince, an act that left his sword eternally on fire. However, he could not become a Lord of Cinder, as his younger brother, Lothric, was "destined" to this mantle. Unfortunately for the Age of Fire, Lothric was born too weak to wield even his ceremonial sword, and relegated himself to being a cheesy intel sorcery build. He shirked his duty as a lord of cinder, and camped out at the the top of the Grand Archives.

Lorian embraced his curse, and helped him fight off any undead or unkindled who attempted to retrieve Lothric's Cinders.
