Lucia

"Not much is known about the woman named Lucia. Her husband had taken Lucia out one clear October night to visit her mother. Their carriage had broken down in the middle of the woods and were in no shape to make repairs there. He decided to mount up and ride into town for help. She kissed him goodbye and watched as the light from his torch faded away. When his husband returned, a few hours later, the carriage was empty. A set of foot prints leading into the woods was all that remained of his dear Lucia.

"It is said that she can be seen wandering the woods late at night; her breath visible only under candlelight. She searches for her husband, only to stop when she hears her name. It is said that she will come to those who, under candlelight, call out, "Lucia, oh Lucia! My heart yearns to be with thee." If you stare long enough into the dark, you can see her eyes, staring back at you, longing to be reunited with her husband, at last."
