Master Splinter from TMNT

The title pretty much covers it. For those who don't know, Master Splinter is the caretaker of the 4 Ninja Turtles. There are 2 different stories about how he came to be. I prefer this one: Splinter was originally a human named Homato Yoshi. He was banished from Japan, so for a time he lived in the sewers of New York. Then one day he came across a chemical that turned whoever touched it into the animal that they had last been in contact with. Yoshi had been with the sewer rats, so he was transformed into a human/rat hybrid.
