Midnight Performer [Circus Contest!]

Eighteen years ago, Rose was sitting in her playpen watching the circus on a vintage television. She was amazed with elephants and the fancy tricks all of the performers did. For the rest of her toddler years she would watch the circus every year in her hometown from her television. She started to sing and dance along early. Rose's parents were both doctors and didn't want Rose to watch the circus anymore as they thought it was pointless and a bad career choice. Rose became playful and energetic and her parents were ashamed. They locked her in the basement when things got out of hand. Rose had twirled around the staircase and did flips from the beds. She sat in the cold basement will only her thoughts. She thought about how she would run away to the circus to become what she really wanted to be, a performer. Her imagination went wild and the basement turned into a colorful circus of fireworks and huge elephants. Then, she was interrupted by a hoarse voice.

"Rose?" The ringmaster said.


"Yes?" She replied opening her night sky blue eyes.

"Are you ready?" The ringmaster tucked his whip into his pocket.

"Yes." Rose replied with confidence.

It was eighteen years later and Rose was about to begin her first show.
