The Cloud Racers
Everyday we see clouds above us moving swiftly over our heads, but have you ever wondered why they move at all?Thats why I'm here today, to tell you about the Caelum!
A long time ago there were people much like you and I only much smaller and amazingly nimble, now you may be thinking "I've never heard of these people before." or "Why aren't they mentioned in my history books?" Well thats an interesting story, you see these people could do things that we could never dream of doing, things like walking on air, speaking to animals, some were even able to fly! This scared us humans as we never knew what to expect from them, they were exceptionally strong and fast and in general much more powerful than us.
So oneday when the towns peope were in a meeting they made a decision, one that would most likely hurt all that were involved. The next day, or night to be precise, all of the "regular people" crept around the woods (for thats where the Caelum slept) looking for each of their small wooden houses, once they had found what they figured was all of them they quietly set up a system that would light each house on fire!
The only problem was that they weren't quiet enough and, as the Caelum are very quick, they attacked the towns people from every angle injuring and even killing some of the people! But there were too many humans and they eventually overpowered the Caelum, they took them to the town where they planned to imprison them for the rest of their lives it began to rain! You see that was their first mistake, as they would know now if they were sill alive, the Caelum are especially strong under the clouds and the rain only made them stronger, they quickly escaped and flew up into the clouds as far up as they could.
From that day forth they have been riding the clouds traveling the world. So if you ever see the clouds moving Particularly fast think of the Caelum racing right above your head.
