Level 5 : Apprentice Crafter

It was a hot morning on the firey surface of the sun as Molten, a young sun ray, was getting ready for his first trip to Earth. He had heard many great things about Earth from his parents, and from his teachers at Sunset Academy and couldn't wait to see the many wonders Earth and outer space could offer. As Molten stood at the edge of the launching pad waiting for the signal to start his journey, he looked down the line at the other young sun rays waiting as well. But instead of seeing bright, excited faces, he saw worried looks shared between each of them. He asked Blaze, a class mate of his from Sunset Academy that was stood next to him what everyone was so worried about. "Haven't you heard?", Blaze replied, "Global warming has taken over Earth! We might not be able to get out of Earth's atmosphere at this rate." And with that, the signal blared and all the rays garceful jumped off the edge of the launch pad and plumeted towards Earth. Molten, who was starting to feel a little bit scared of what lay infront of him, was overwhlemed by the amazingly beautiful sight of outer space. He turned his head around and took a look at the sun. He hadn't realized how bright, and firey it really was. Molten could not bare the thought of not being able to return to his blazing hot home and with that he entered the smoggy atmosphere of Earth. He flew through the atmosphere and could not understand how the people of Earth could breath. He started to choke on his way down but soon hit the soft grass of Earth's surface. On his way back up, he took the time to look around. He saw big, green trees surrounded by danity red and yellow flowers. Small rabbits frolicked around in the grass. Maybe global warming isn't such a big deal Molten thought. He was just about to enter space again, as he saw Blaze go through the atmosphere with ease. "What was he on about earlier?" Molten asked himself. He got through the atmosphere with no problem! But as Molten approached it, he hit the atmosphere and bounced right off. He landed on top of a white fluffy cloud and looked up. "There's no way this could happen to me! I have to get out". But the more Molten tried, the more tired and cold he got. With only the armor on his back, he lay on the large cloud, trying to savour all the heat he had. Molten realized that he would never see outer space again, or ever return to his hot, firey home. And with that thought, he fell asleep and hoped that he would have enough energy the next day to try and get out once again.
