Rain pounds the concrete path in the garden. Pools of water fill the footprints in the soggy soil. The sound of rain is like music, filling the empty, dying garden with sound and life. It felt alive, for once, a strange feeling, as the plants grew greener and the flowers fluffed up with color. As the keeper came out of the shed, flowers and trees, fuller than ever, greeted the dedicated soul that cared about them for so long.
