Mx. Moonstone

Saw her in a dream and had to make them. Never made a MC skin prior to this, but I'm actually really happy with how it turned out! She's kinda just a mish-mosh of a few other skins that I took inspiration from with the colors changed; which does relate to their lore.

Moonstone Sidra (She/They/It Mx./Mxs.)

It came from an asteroid, clustered with several other gemstones and crystals. All of these minerals are of Earth origin, yet still came from the skies above. All of them filled with forgotten magic from long, long ago.

When the scientists paired them with the ancient constructs found deep in the world's tallest mountains, it had made them come to life. The rocky golems awoke again after millennia of slumber.

When she awoke, a researcher by the name of "Sidra" cared for them, observing and interacting. It had become acquainted with the human race, being treated with respect and intrigue.

However, the ancients had found out -- despite being treated so well, and being mostly understood creatures -- they would never be let out from their containment. It was explained to them, the people would not understand, they would not be welcoming.

The ancients all had various reactions to this news, some somber at the knowledge of not being able to see their world once more, some angered at this betrayal, others sat in quiet despair.

Most of them had accepted their fate, for the greater good. Exception for a few, a small group led by the ancient known as Onyx.

Moonstone was removed from the golem she resided in and put back to rest once more, a daily routine she had gotten fairly used to. They were actually quite comfortable with this new way of living that was provided. It still had thoughts of exploring the outside; but if it meant preventing harm...

She had awoken once more, their form slowly glowing brighter once more. It was expecting to see Sidra once again, and she had. However, not in the way they wished.

Sidra was severely hurt, blood running from her head. She had collapsed right in front of Moonstone. Moonstone had quickly gone down and rushed to Sidra's aid. It was too late to help her, in a way that mattered for her mortal body that is. Moonstone had pulled Sidra's soul from her body. Moonstone had made a promise in this moment -- it would find a resting place for Sidra and bring peace between humans and the ancients.

Moonstone fused Sidra's soul to her stone. Moonstone had then slowly made their way out of the facility, picking up various pieces of clothing and belongings from the scientists it most cared for and wore them as mementos to bring on her awaiting adventures.
