I actually love SAO (oneofthefewpeople), but there are a lot of clichés and plot holes in the series.
If you're not a huge fan of SAO but you've seen the series, I highly recommend watching SAO Abridged by SomethingWittyEntertainment, if you haven't already.
and it's not that i really disliked the anime, it's just that i didn't like asuna, haha
and i'll check that out ; )
I didn't mind Asuna (Kirito was the one that got on my nerves the most, actually). I only disliked her in the second and third arcs since I felt they made her character weaker, if that makes sense.
i also don't like asuna's personality, but her design is cute
