It was a stormy sea and the ship was rocking back and forth. Hoxicura
woke up to the waves splashing against her. She tried to go back to
sleep but she heard a weird sound. Hwraaaaaaa! Hoxicura thought to
herself, "What was that?" So she went to the main deck and looked in
the sea. She saw something slithering in the sea. Hoxicura looked more
closely. It looked really long. But right when she tried to look more
closely it threw its tail at her and pulled her into the sea.

She held her breath. She saw how long it really was. It looked like a
sea serpent and she panicked. "What do I do WHAT DO I DO?" she
thought. She was being pulled so far down until she sprang out of bed
looked around. Was that a dream? She sighed with relief. "Huuuuh" She
got dressed and brushed her hair. Hoxicura went to the kitchen and ate
some oatmeal with bananas and strawberries.

After that she did her homework and went outside. She saw something
flying around. So she decided to go check it out. When she got closer
it started flying away into the woods that were behind her house.
Hoxicura was walking slowly trying not to scare it off, until It
finally stopped and turned around. It was a fairy with brown hair, a
red dress, green shoes, and a purple wand. The fairy said. "Why have
you followed me here?"

Hoxicura didn't know what to say. She had never talked to a fairy or
even seen one. "A..ar...are y..yo..you a f..fa..fairy?" Hoxicura
stuttered. "Yes, but you still haven't answered my question. Why did
you follow me here?"... Hoxicura said nothing, still shocked that she
had just met a fairy. "Oh nevermind, I'll just have to teach you a
lesson." The fairy used her wand and put a curse on Hoxicura. You
should have never followed me here.

The fairy flew away. Hoxicura looked at the right side of her hair. It
was turning blonde? Half of her clothes had changed color, too. She
heard a bush rustle.

Hoxicura turned around. A unicorn came out of the bushes. "I see you
have been cursed by that fairy, correct?"

Hoxicura said, "Yes."

"Let me introduce myself. I am Mirtha, the elder of the unicorns."

"I'm Hoxicura ...Mirtha, I know we just met, but are you able to take
this curse off me?"

"...I can try."

"Thank you."

Then Mirtha's horn started to glow. She pointed it at Hoxicura.
Harnessing all her power then touching the side of Hoxicura that had
the curse.

Her horn stopped glowing and she looked at Hoxicura with sad eyes.
"I'm sorry, I can't get rid of the curse." Just when Hoxicura was
about to say something, a big Griffin grabbed her and flew away.
Mirtha tried to use her horn magic to help Hoxicura but she had used
all the energy she had. As the griffin flew away, Hoxicura struggled
to escape the griffin's big claws.

The griffin landed and dropped Hoxicura in its nest that was by the
sea. She slowly sat up and looked around. There were eggs in the nest
next to her. The griffin flew away searching for more food for her
eggs. She tried to slowly move away from the eggs. She got to the edge
of the nest but one of the eggs started to crack. Then the rest
followed. "OH NO! ARE THEY GOING TO EAT ME?" Hoxicura thought. Then a
mermaid swam near the shore where the nest was.

"Are you ok?"

"NOT REALLY, those griffin eggs are HATCHING!"

"Try jumping into the ocean to get away before the mama griffin comes back."

"OK, I'll try."

Hoxicura stood up slowly and looked at the sea. Craaaaaaw! Hoxicura
turned around. She saw the mama griffin flying at her. Hoxicura looked
back at the sea and jumped as fast as she could. Hoxicura held her
breath and opened her eyes. She swam to the mermaid. The mermaid
beckoned her to follow. After swimming for a while and breaking the
surface of the sea to get air, they got kind of far from the griffin's
nest and went to the closest shore line.

Hoxicura crawled to the sand to lay down and rest, still thinking
about what just happened. After she felt better, Hoxicura got up and
said to the mermaid, "Thank you for saving me......"

"It's Lyle, and you're welcome."

"Now, how do I get back home?" asked Hoxicura.

"Do you know the way back to your house?"

"No."

"Come with me and stay at my castle until you're ready."

Hoxicura stepped closer and sat near the water.

She said to Lyle, "But I'm not a mermaid."

"You don't need to be."

Lyle used her necklace and touched Hoxicura with it.

"Now you can breathe under water," Lyle said.

"Ok."

Hoxicura walked closer to the water until her body was submerged up to
her neck. Then they swam to Lyle's castle. After they got to her
castle Lyle took Hoxicura to a guest room.

"Stay here--I'll get some sushi for you."

"Ok."

Hoxicura sat on the bed that was in the room. How do I get home?
Hoxicura thought. Lyle came back into the room and said, "Here you
go."

"Thanks."

"You're welcome, I need to go do some things. Bye."

"You're leaving?"

"Yeah, sorry, I need to go do a few things--I'll be right back."

" Ok, bye."

Lyle left the room while Hoxicura finished her sushi. She put the
plate on the bed and looked around trying to remember how to find her
way back to her house when she saw a dolphin swimming by. She started
to swim towards it. The dolphin looked at her and came closer. The
dolphin looked like it wanted Hoxicura to follow it. Hoxicura turned
around and whispered, "Sorry, Lyle." She grabbed the dolphin's fin
tightly.

The dolphin darted off right after Lyle came back into the guest room
and Lyle whispered, "I hope you find your way back home." Hoxicura got
to the shore and whispered to the dolphin, "Thank you." She stood up
and watched the dolphin swim back into the sea.

She started to head into the forest that was near the shore. After
wandering far into the forest, she found a black galaxy rock on the
ground. Hoxicura picked it up and studied it, saying to herself,
"Interesting, I've never seen this kind of rock before." After looking
at the rock for a while she started to get dizzy. She collapsed with
the rock still in her hand.

A little while later, she woke up and looked around and noticed the
rock was gone. "Uhh...what happened?" She was in a weird-looking
place, not the forest she last remembered seeing.

It looked like a pitch black void and it was very dark. But there was
a faint glow in the distance, "What is that?" Hoxicura thought. It was
very dark so Hoxicura put her foot out a few times so she wouldn't
fall into holes, if there were any. Hoxicura made it to the glowing
place. It was a very big castle with pillars in the front that had
torches on them, and two banners on the front that had dragons.
Hoxicura started to get a bad feeling but she still went in.

Hoxicura was going through the corridors, slowly opening the big doors
to see if anyone was there. She was at the door that would lead to the
throne room. Hoxicura took a deep breath and opened the door. It was
empty in the throne room. She looked to the right and left side of her
and saw big dragon statues. Hoxicura started to walk closer to the
throne to see if there was anyone in there.

Hoxicura looked behind the throne and all around the room and no one
was in there. She went near one of the dragon statues and looked
behind it. No one was there. But she fell and accidentally touched the
statue. She got up but the dragon statue came to life. Rooooooooar!
Hoxicura backed up a lot, scared from the sudden sound. The dragon
started flying at her. Hoxicura started running back out of the
castle. Even after she got out of the castle the dragon followed her.

Hoxicura was running from the dragon but she tripped. "WHAT DO I
DOOOOOO!?" Hoxicura was very scared. She tried to get up but she
couldn't because of how scared she was. Her legs wouldn't move. The
dragon flew around Hoxicura and breathed a red fire around her.
Hoxicura finally was able to get up but it was too late. She couldn't
get out of the ring of fire.

Hoxicura started feeling weak from the fire until she was too weak to
move at all and fell onto her knees. The fire started to make a
crystal encasing around her until she was fully covered by it. The
dragon flew back to the pedestal and turned back into stone. Hoxicura
couldn't move anymore while in the crystal encasing. She started to
feel sleepy, not knowing she would be forever trapped there.
