Spurchers are thieves from "MIDNIGHT CITY", a city located on a planet without sun due to a failed project called "PROJECT: Dark Storm"  that blocked out the sun. As a result a city was built based on purely technology. The city attracts wealthy celbrities for it's extravagant advertisment opportunities, the only city's source of lighting comes from digital advertisment screens. As a result it also attracts thieves because of the high value possesions, easy hiding places, and all year darkness. Skilled thieves caught by the local police are rarely selected as to be Spursucher, however  these units are THE MOST PAID to motivate them to under take high risk missions within the city, and harsh training. Spurchers do their duties with accuracy and effeciency, only for their own desire to avoid the very severe punishment for theft, and personal wealth. 
This unit is a marksman unit trained in using sniper rifles, mobility, survelance, intelligence, and night tracking.

With 10 years of service, they will be promised to live freely with all charges reguarding theft dropped.
