At the heart of the light-consuming Void lies Al'druan, the Black City. A massive stone civilization, it is swarming with Shades, and at the center of the city lies the Broken Spire. It is here that the vile head of the snake, Nemesis, resides. Commanding the Shades to do his bidding, he is constantly trying to open rifts to both the Overworld and the Nether.
