Huh, managed to get batty on the very first day of october!

so ever since the 1.16 snapshots started rolling out, I've been wanting to have a netherite version of my current skin since you know, netherite is probably my absoulte favorite things in vanilla now lol. turns out, I had a skin from a while ago made by some fellow here on PMC named paradisial or something along those lines that looks a lot like netherite, ended up digging it up and now I'm using that as my skin. problem is, the pallet isn't exactly netherite, so while holding vanilla netherite gear, it becomes especially apparent what the armor isn't exactly emulating 100%. my own attempts at pallet swapping the skin with some netherite color pallets have been... mixed to say the least.

if anyone out there feels as if they can tackle this better than me, do please inform me, I'll be sure to send my skin over to you for the edit

edit: also, in case anyone's wondering why I'm asking this despite the fact I have made my own skins in the past, I've honestly got rather rusty at it since I've pretty much stopped doing it for years now, doesn't help that most were based on open-source skin parts and stuff either, so I was more making them whole with my own work there

so the other day some discord pal of mine asked what minecraft mob someone would be, I choose wither, if only because of their ability to fly and rain death upon their enemies :P
but for anyone who's caught this post, what minecraft mob would you be, and why?

huh, somehow I got my hand on the pengu out of sheer luck when checking my notifications, so yay me, only thing missing is a nice lil' pirate hat for the guy, but that reference will probably fly over everyone's heads

might as well post a minirant here, because why not? Even if it's not really related to minecraft.
I'm honestly getting quite tired of people disliking (read: shitting on) a game I quite enjoy (that being Starbound), I can get it when someone who genuinely was invested in the game back in beta (or even alpha) would be dissapointed by it now (if only because it changed so much) so long as they move on from that and concede that plenty of other may still enjoy it. But it's honestly just BS when someone believes that the game is shit and is only good with mods, especially when most of those mods don't even change the base gameplay in any meaningful way. I just wish people were more open-minded with things.
