The Nether King...
As his name suggests, he is the king of the Nether Realm. This man has always been mysterious in the eyes of all Minecrafters, but today I will tell you all his true story.
Centuries ago, the Nether King (NK) was born to normal parents somewhere in the Overworld, and for the first 12 years of his life he was a completely normal kid in every way possible, but one day he looked into a window, and noticed something rather different about himself.His eyes had turned from a stunning blue color to a brillant shade of gold, and he was baffled by this. So he asked his parents what was going on, and at first they thought he had some kind of rare disease, then they went to the doctor.The doctor concluded that NK was a Netherian; he had gold eyes and he had the ablity to control fire. This was a blessing to him; whenever somebody attacked him, NK would use his fire-controlling powers to keep emenies away from him. It was also a curse, because his powers started to distort his mind.
By the time he was 17, NK believed that the Nether was "unpure", and it was his duty to "restore" it, because he was the only known Netherian at the time. The Nether back in NK's age was different, it was similar to today's Nether but it was cool enough for water to exist and as a result, vegetation covered the parts of the Nether that weren't near lava pools. NK was angry with this, as he didn't like the Nether being "contaminated" by Overworld life.
When NK turned 18, he was a legal adult and therefore no longer in his parent's custody, so he escaped to the Nether. Going to the Nether before NK became king was also different, and it was easier. All you had to do was light your pants on fire and then jump into a hot spring, this would transport you to the Nether. So NK did this, and ended up in the Nether Realm.
The first thing he did when he got there was searching for the castle that the Nether's ruler lived in, though this didn't last long. At some point in NK's quest, a mysterious man appeared, and this mysterious man could read minds, and he knew what NK wanted to do, so the two got into an epic duel that lasted for weeks, and finally, the mysterious man pinned NK onto the warm, soft Netherrack ground, and promptly set him on fire and kicked his body into the lava pool nearby.The mysterious man's biggest mistake was not realizing that NK was a pure-blooded Netherian man and he couldn't die from fire.
NK wasn't seen again for 100 years.
When that amount of time had passed, NK's body beached on a patch of Soul Sand, and when he woke up from his century-long slumber, he realized that he had become his true Netherian self. The only way you can tell he was a human is the burnt remains of his left sleeve and his shoes, those didn't burn completely because Netherians influence whatever is near them, for instance, every weapon a Netherian touches gains Fire Aspect X.The second thing NK figured out when he woke up was that the mysterious man... was the Nether's ruler.Since NK wasn't dead, he continued his quest to "fix" the Nether.
Eventually, NK found the ruler's castle, and used his powers to raid it, and very quickly he reached the throne room. The mysterious man was wearing a turquoise shirt and blue jeans, and his eyes were yellow. He also had a gold crown on his head. This man would become known as "Herobrine" to today's Minecrafters.NK and Herobrine got into an intense duel yet again, however, Herobrine wasn't 100% Netherian, therefore NK overpowered Herobrine quickly. Once he got the chance, NK launched a huge fireball at Herobrine. Herobrine, acting quickly, put up a barrier, the type of which was unknown. However, the fireball overpowered the shield, and Herobrine died in a huge explosion that rocked the entire castle. NK noticed the gold crown sitting on the pile of ashes that was Herobrine, so he put it on, and NK truly became the Nether King.
Herobrine's soul was not shattered in the explosion, so he was sent to the Overworld, where he "haunts" the residents of the Overworld, when in fact he's looking for a person who can defeat NK.
Meanwhile, NK had total authority over the Nether, he raised the temperture to such a high point to where all the water evaporated, the trees and plants burned, and the Overworld mobs were all toasted. Not only that, but NK's actions also melted some of the Netherrack into lava, which raised the lava level in the Nether to historically high points. And NK made entry into the Nether harder so less people could oppose him. He distorted the code between the dimensions, and one must now build a Nether Portal from obsidian. This portal thing is still how getting to the Nether works today.
Centuries later, the soul of Herobrine was still searching for one who had the courage and stamina to defeat NK, and NK still ruled the Nether with an iron fist.
After our hero Steve defeated the Dragon once and for all, a ghostly figure with glowing white eyes appeared in front of his house. This ghost was Herobrine, and Herobrine believed he had finally found the one who could take back the Nether. Herobrine told Steve about the impending fate of "all dimensions" if NK wasn't stopped.
So Steve figured out the location of NK's castle, equipped himself with his best armor, weapons, and potions, and stepped into the portal. The true final boss awaits him...
