considering that this is 100% original with no inspiration I'm not sure if that's directed towards me for making a base out of it or people who use bases because they don't have an original shading

just saying that not having a default way to shade certain things is more appropriate when dealing with different types of categories of skins and because it comes off as repititive if you're using the same exact shading on a certain skin but you just switched out some accessories like clothes or changed hair color when you can distinctively use a shading style without the use of a premade base. Idk you do you
