Ziryab Del was a quiet man [age 20], who worked as a bodyguard for the underground businesses. Sometimes even did some assassination work for anyone who didn't pay up to the bosses. Getting his hands dirty so others didn't. But one day as he was in a subway getting ready to go home, a huge earthquake shakes the entire area, making his legs almost give way. The lights go out as the ground continues to shake. It was not a normal earthquake.. The ceiling collapse as pieces of the ceiling hits his head, making him black out.

A few hours go by when he then wakes up, barely saved. Two parts of the ceiling collapsed at the same time, allowing them to lean on each other keeping him safe. Climbing out the debris he looks at the city as a huge amount of building had fallen to the ground, almost being able to fully see the horizon. The smells of a nuclear bomb floats around in the air and a bunch of asphalt slowly coming to the ground. Like dark snow. Rushing to his house, he puts on other clothing besides the black suit he was wearing. Grabbing his spare gun and knife. This was going to be an interesting day.

[trying to make this a bit shorter] Months go by as he was able to get a bit of armor that he found off of dead bodies or had taken from other people. Making friends with a small group of raiders who knew a bit of fighting, was able to fit right in. He was able to get warmer clothes as it seemed to be snowing all the time. Having 3 layers of long sleeves on as well as a bit of armor, a long scarf, pants and with thick leggings underneath. Some shoulder pads for some slight protection. And leg grasps with knee pads. The grasps were tightly secured to his legs and boots so that his shoes couldn't easily slip off put, with a lot pressure [falling into a snow pit, having his foot stuck, etc]. With a pair of fingerless gloves [easier to use tools with] He tried to keep his armor as light as possible so he could move more freely. The small back pack he had carried a small amount of tools and food [screwdrivers, and other small things] as well as a knife. He had a hidden base with the group of raiders where he would store most of his things there. For the raiders he would hunt for food and either by himself or with one or two others, theywould raid other groups for food and gear. [Survival of the fittest]

Ziryab when first finding the raiders, was able to talk to them about what happened. Since he was knocked out. They said there was a bit on the news [before everything went entirely out after the nuke], but not much. Said something like a bombing from a terrorist group. But they said it’s probably a lie, which he was thinking too. A small group of people couldn't have made such a deadly bomb to cause the entire world into chaos and destruction. Ziryab believed that it had to be someone with a lot of power to command something to be made. Probably the government or something with a lot of authority and ended up messing things up
