ıllıllı OPERATION - SURGEON ıllıllı
This skin took a good deal of time to create, but the end result was worth it.
As this account garners more and more attention, I continue to fear my work may be compromised.
To protect my work, I have been considering placing a watermark inside each skin file. Only, I am not entirely certain how I will place this said watermark.
The hair flowing down her chest was incredibly troublesome because it kept blending into her clothing.
I've come to realize darker skins may be what I do best.
An unnamed client of mine(who also happens to be my sibling) requested a skin, which I have "shipped" to them today. Only, we have one issue. The character the skin had been created for is extremely important, and we both have our own concerns. I want to protect my work, and they want to protect their character. We both fear others will use the skin. They are afraid the skin will become popular and over-used, and I fear the skin will be stolen and re-uploaded to Skinseed or something similar.
I believed the best solution would be to upload it before anyone else would try wearing the skin. My client beleived the best solution would be to leave it un-uploaded. What solution could we come to that will ensure that the character's background is safe, and that eases my client's fears?

The area beneath this skin's non-existent neck has been textured.
There is an area on the top of this skin's rectangular torso, beneath its head, that has not been textured.

Nonetheless, all of the advice you have shared is greatly appreciated. and will be recalled when similar situations with other clients arise.
To get the skin image onto PMC what you do is upload the image to an image sharing website that is personal (like Imgur or (this is what I use) sta.sh as you have access to it if you have DeviantArt).
No one can view the image without a link to it (or at least for sta.sh, I don’t really know about Imgur).
Once you’re there you copy the link to the image (not the website if you’re using sta.sh), tap the icon on the text hot bar that looks like an image of two mountains, and then paste the link in its correct place.
Send it, then your client could just (if there on a computer) right click the image and click save as.
If they’re on mobile, I think tap and hold on the image and then click save image will work, or at least for iOS as I use that.
I hope that helps, and if you have any questions about what I said then just reply :>
All the skins I upload publicly I’m okay with people downloading and using but if they steal them so be it. I have no way to take it down or even see it unless if it was on PMC and I just happened to find them. But for those people who request things I just PM them the image and that’s it, while if it’s a personal skin I just don’t upload it at all. I barely even play Minecraft anymore though xD
Now about stealing by searching up a certain player's skin on... idk some website that keeps track of individual Minecraft player's current skins. I don’t really have a solution to that other than play Pocket Edition and use the skin there or just don’t wear it entirely ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The only 100% safe way I know of to wear a skin is to set it as the alex or steve texture in a texture pack. But that will make everyone else with that default texture appear to be wearing the skin you made, don't worry they won't actually have access to your skin file. If you need help doing that I can explain it a bit better.
Another way that I am not sure about at all is Windows 10 minecraft version. If you have Java Minecraft this should be free for you, it was for me. This MAY have skin stealers but I have not found any through google. Upload at your own risk.
At all costs AVOID uploading to Java Minecraft. There are a TON of skin stealers out there.
Someone please correct me if this is false info! I would feel terrible if it is!
The skin has already been sent to the said client, but your comment has been useful.
I appreciate your word of advice.
I apologize for my awkward response. As I have said in my responses to other comments on this submission, I cannot see what I am typing.
