"It's not my fault; it's not my fault! Somebody had to stay inside and watch the shuttle! They know this, it's standard procedure! It's not my fault! Where are those pills, I need my pills, I'm so tired, but I can't sleep, If I sleep, they'll take me out there, with them. It's bad enough having to look at them, that storm, all those tiny bits of stone and ice shredded and mangled them in less than a second. And now they're all floating, lifeless, just a few feet away from the cockpit. I didn't even have time to say goodbye! But they're still here, I see them. I see Clyde out of the corner of my eye, sitting in the chair next to me, but I never turn to look at him. I hear "Blinky" calling over the radio, sometimes his voice is calm, he's asking to come outside and join them. Other times he's enraged, blaming me for what happened. Where are those stupid pills! I can't even blink! It's been 33 hours! I can't focus! The radio's broken! We missed the check in, help is on the way, but how am I supposed to last until then! Ah, there's the pills.
