I hope things turn out ok for you ;;
personally I'm still in the waiting period where we finally find out if I qualify to see one of the local psychiatrists or not, and in the meantime I have to just suck it up and try my hardest not to have too many mental breakdowns :'))
not tryna take away from what you said and what you're goin through at all though, it's honestly fantastic that you're seeing somebody who can help and that you're starting to get the care you need here though ;o;

I don't want pity but I also have anxiety (and trust issues) from things that happened in my past.

don't be sorry. thank you for believing i can get through this, i hope you're right. i wish you the best of luck that your anxiety gets better. its tough to trust people, so don't strain yourself about it. staying to yourself is sometimes the best way of getting over issues. just, if you ever get to a point where you can't trust yourself being alone for too long, get the help you need. its worth the wait
