Bascially, what happend was steve, after some research on redstone decided it was time for an upgrade. :P

"The sounds. God, the sounds.. the mobs never despawn.. it's getting tireing. I can't sleep.." A creeper shuffles from behind a large block of dirt, beginning to hiss. "Oh no you aren't..!" I ran over and slammed it into the ground. I stabbed it in the back of the head with my iron sword, just to make sure. A skeleton shot me, the arrow skimming my flesh, cutting it ever so softly. It burned, bad. "Augh!" I decapitated the boney menace. "I need... food.. to heal.." I dragged myself back to my stronghold base after some mining and healing, witha large ammount of iron and redstone. "I'm sick of these mobs! I'll kill them all!" I furiously got to work on my soon to be saivior..
