Since the wall post I've come out to a large portion of my friends and they've so far been very supportive! Which was a huuuge relief, but at the same time I kind of expected it since my friends tend to be on the progressive side.

I have, however, decided to reach out to my doctor and start this process without informing my family. They are not very accepting of trans people and I don't know if I'll be able to change their minds any time soon. Unfortunately my doctor is currently on medical leave, so I'll keep you posted once I get in contact with him.

To end on a happy note, I'll be applying to a bunch of universities next week and I'll (hopefully) be able to move away and live with a couple of my friends by the end of summer. So fingers crossed :)
