hmmm....I like the Fragile but I never really understood the hype.

Pretty Hate Machine and The Downward Spiral are my faves. I have PHM on vinyl ;)

I think TF might be a bit too long, but there's a lot of really good songs on there like Somewhat Damaged, The Wretched, La Mer, Into The Void, and The Big Come Down. I don't think the quality is as consistent as TDS, but the high points are higher. I also really like the variety of TF, like Somewhat Damaged vs La Mer.

TDS is also really good but I don't listen to it as much because it's just kinda... disturbing. Not casual listening.

I think PHM is alright but it might be my least favourite NIN album. I think I just like heavier music.

That's valid! I really like the Fragile, it's just not my fave. Where is Everybody and Somewhat Damaged are my faves from that album.

It might just be bc I have bad memories attached to that album that I don't really like it, bc the majority of it is a bunch of absolute bangers.

Also I'm in love with PHM because it sounds synthpop-y and I just fucking love the 80s so much. Especially goth and goth-adjacent 80s stuff
