Melonius is the Melon god of MelonCraft. He stands infront of us representing the Melonians with pride. By his side stands many Guards protecting him from the evil Pumpkonius that once haunted us. May he grow ever larger!

0 God's Era - The Creation

Before there was melon, there was nothing. The sole existing beings was the great god Melonius (may he grow ever larger) and the god Erebus. Melonius and Erebus lived in peace for countless millennia, until one day, the single void was split in two by a force even the two gods could not understand. This was the first seed of melon. It started as a small white speck in the darkness. From that speck a great leafy vine emerged, growing so thick and so fast that the gods were separated forever from each other by a rift in the fabric of the universe. One realm is our realm: the realm where earth sits. The other realm was the realm of Melonius. As we all know, a melon stalk only grows melon in one direction; the same rule applied here. The melon stalk developed into the first largest melon which was later named MelonCraft. The two realms developed completely separately. Earth went through millions of years of barbarianism that was finally controlled by the lesser god Zeus, while MelonCraft florished from the fertile skin of the great melon.

7000 circa God's Era

For almost seven thousand years, both Melonius and Erebus tried to break the rift that separated them, but both were met with no avail. The gods came to accept that they were separated forever. The two realms would develop separately, one becoming Earth, one becoming MelonCraft. As years wore on, Melonius overcame his grief at the loss of his friend Erebus, and began to explore the realm he was now in charge of. From the Great Melon that formed the land of the realm, he extracted the essence of what we now know today as melon. These smaller, more easily managed melons were soon planted across the realm. Melonius alone spent years experimenting and exploring, until he finally realized he had nothing left to explore.

126502910 God's Era / 0 Warring Era

Without land left to discover, Melonius set out creating live animals out of the melon around him. He wanted to try a great experiment that he vowed he would not interfere once started. From the differing forms of naturally occuring melon essence (we know them by their common names such as dirt or wood), Melonius created the first pig. Pigs were created out of a mixture of the essences redstone and wool. Cows were made from the essence we know as dirt and milk. Villagers were made from farmland and logs. A few other creatures were created. These beings roamed free in the land, but an unexpected occurrence arose. Pigs mutated into horrid creatures called creepers. Some Creepers lost their redstone-TNT hearts, and became Zombies. Zombies rotted into Skeletons. Bones of skeletons formed into disgusting creatures known as silverfish. The result were thousands of years of rivalry between the corrupted monsters and the harmless animals. The one thing that prevented the utter destruction of the animals was that the monsters could not enter the sun (the burning core of the first melon seed) because they had lost their melon essence - the corrupted monsters could not stand the energy that powered the good world. And so the wars raged on. Millions of animals were slaughtered, while careless monsters were incinerated by the rising hope of the sun. Neither side gained any advantage even though the animals were defenseless. Melonius simply watched as his horrid experiment raged on.

1283 Warring Era

For a long time, the villagers were hopeless against their struggle against the monsters. Melonius decided to create one more creature to push the balance in favor of good. He took the iron in the ground and created the shell of a creature of immense power and strength, but he could not find a suitable head for this creature, since a melon head would fill the creature with too much good and it would never attack any of the monsters. With the task of finding a more aggressive melon essence, he once again set out into the realm. After long years of searching, he found what he needed. Deep underground in the hell know as the Nether, he found the beginning sprout of a great evil. This "pumpkin" as he called it, had an inherent evil inside of it. He took this and cultivated it, so he could create and army of Iron Golems to dispel the evil of the dark.

1495 Warring Era

The Iron Golems succeeded in repelling the zombies, allowing the villagers to live somewhat more comfortably, but the creepers and skeletons still attacked. What was missing was a true versatile weapon against the monsters. With the silent encouragement of Melonius and a small nudge here and there, Melonius managed to train out of the villagers a new hero. This hero is called Steve?. Steve? was able to manipulate the melon essence around him to create never before seen weapons such as swords and bows. Using these weapons, he slaughtered millions of foul creatures, protecting the villagers from harm. Sadly, Skeletons also picked up bowmaking techniques and used them against Steve?. Following the success of Steve?, Melonius created countless more Steve?s. With that, the Warring Era came to a close. The Steve?s kept the monsters at bay, and formed societies that accomplished great things.

0 Peace Era

Melonius was finally pleased with his realm. MelonCraft became an exciting world full of busting Steve?s. SkinPainting became a popular pastime, giving each Steve? a unique look. As their society developed, the Steve?s began to give themselves other names, such as Notch, BioSmasher, AFatTick, fatso113, or CKF. As MelonCraft thrived, Melonius felt his work was done. He decided to temporarily retire from his godly duties and rest. To ensure the realm's saftey, he embodied some of his soul into the Steve? named Notch (Notch was the Original Steve?, and thus became Leader of the Steve?s)

2013 Peace Era

With MelonCraft thriving, there was still one more major event in the history of the realms. During one long night, Notch discovered one of the most revolutionary technologies the realms had yet to see. He invented the Multiple Interface Neural Electrical Connectivity Resonance Arc Facilitating Telekinesis, Or MINECRAFT for short. This technology accomplished what even the Gods could not. MINECRAFT connected the beings of Earth to the realm on MelonCraft.
