Queen Anne Neville (1456-1485)

The inspiration for this skin came from a stained glass window at Cardiff Castle. She is pictured next to her husband, Richard III.



History:

Anne Neville was born at Warwick castle, Uk. She was born into a very noble family, of which supported the house of york in the war of the roses. Alot of her childhood was spent in Middleham castle which is where she met the three famous sons of the duke of york (Edward, George and Richard). Her father switched sides in the war of the roses and helped support Henry VI ,of Lancaster house, back to the throne. He then married his daughter to Henry VI's Heir Edward, Prince of Wales. In a series of unfortunate events Anne soon became fatherless and windowed as both her father and her husband die in battle. The York family regained power and Anne was taken prisoner.
Richard III, the youngers of the 3 york brothers sought down Anne and made her his wife. After alot of deaths, Richard III becomes king making Anne Queen of England. Anne had one son with Richard but he died very young.
Due to ill health, she died at the age of 28. Her body now rests at Westminster Abby.
