River Otter

This skin is dedicated to the_soup, a pillar of the PMC community, and a supporter of my artistic efforts :) She also "commanded" me to make it :P

The river otter is a playful member of the weasel family. It dines on fish, frogs, and crayfish. It lives along river banks and loves to slide down muddy slopes into the water.

This skin was a real hair puller. I wanted the skin to feel warm and playful. Therefore I used reddish browns instead of grays. I also wanted the chest fur to look like it was wet. I must have made 10 tails before I settled on this one. I purposely made the arms look like they do because otters float on their backs with their paws on their bellies.
