SCP-173 is a Euclid-class SCP object, it is the primary hostile SCP featured in the game and is well-known for being the first SCP article ever created. It is known on theFoundation site as "The Sculpture".
Description
It is constructed from concrete and rebar with traces of Krylon brand spray paint. SCP-173 is animate and extremely hostile. The object cannot move while within a direct line of sight. Line of sight must not be broken at any time with SCP-173.
In-Game
SCP-173 is directly hostile to the player, it will attempt to kill the player at any given opportunity. SCP-173 will only move if the player cannot see it, whether they are turned away or blinking. SCP-173 can only move a significant distance in the time it takes to blink, however SCP-173 is unable to move directly through solid objects if there is no way around said object - for example, if SCP-173 is on a different branch of a catwalk, the player relatively safe and may blink at it with impunity, however it can break through glass in certain areas and attack the player upon blinking or turning away.
The player should not rely upon doors to effectively ward off SCP-173, as it can and will open them to get to him or her once he/she blinks. However, like always, SCP-173 cannot make more than one "move" per blink. While it will open the door, SCP-173 will not go through until the player turns around or blinks again, giving the player the opportunity to either run or re close the door.
SCP-173 uses the sites ventilation system to move around the site, and more specifically to be able to catch up to the player in an attempt to ambush him. Rooms that it can suddenly appear in typically have a broken ventilation in the room.
SCP-173's presence can be noticed by the stone scraping sounds originating from the room it is in, as well as with the S-Nav Ultimate.
