Screech is an entity that resides in the hotel. It has a chance to spawn in dark rooms.
Screech will stalk its victims by quietly observing from a distance. The player can be hinted at Screech's presence by listening closely to the very subtle sounds it makes, which is a distinct 'psst' sound. If the player is too late in spotting Screech, it will bite the player. The bite depletes 40 health points, and Screech quickly scatters away afterward. Locating Screech in time will still jumpscare the player, but Screech will not cause any harm and will only flee.
