Selkies, creatures found commonly in Irish and Scottish folklore, may look like normal seal at first but these mythological beings are capable of shedding their skin to become beautiful humans (normally a woman) when they reach land.
They hide their skin carefully for if a human finds it, they have full control over them until the skin is returned since a Selkie will never stop trying to retrieve it.
Most live normal lives, getting married (sometimes by force) and even having children while on land before abandoning it all to return to the deep blue sea though occasionally they may return as a seal to play with their children at the sea shore.
I'm not sure what I was going for here with this skin, or if it'll even count as a fairy tale skin, but hopefully it'll do well enough to get me through the contest ♥
