I wouldn't use other people's shading styles.  It shows a lack of skill, and shows you are lazy.

Still, the same thing applies.  And because you are still somewhat using this style.  If he gave you permission, it doesn't mean you aren't lazy for doing it.

Um...  I am just giving feedback.  People don't usually like if you use shading styles of others.  I wasn't trying to start anything, I was just stating what it shows.  I would recommend you don't use this.  The point was to tell you this.  I'm sorry if I did anything to offend you.
