Sideswipe in armada was a friend of Hotshot tht was caught in a fuss between whelljack and Hotshot then got tied to a gas tank and left to die as a lesson to HotSHot after WHeelJack thought he was left by the Autobots (he wasnt entirely wrong either.) but after being blown up in this form he became a darth vader version of himself the decepticon Sideswipe.
