It was my last day at my work-place, a nuclear power plant (How original, huh?), when it happened...

A huge explosion shook the walls as I was going to the mess hall for lunch. An alarm blared throughout the facility, the Overseer was on the PA system, but his voice was garbled, it was hard for me to understand him. I started running towards the nearest exit, which was over the toxic waste pits (yet again, original much?) then another explosion rocked the catwalk I was on, and I fell into the pits. My body was racked with pain, I felt something grow over my work suit(The suit and tie). I felt my eyes come together and my mouth and eyes literally fell off my face! My body was stretched at least over 7-8 feet long! I blacked out with pain.

I came to several days later on the shore of the lake outside the plant, I was stunned, I thought it was just a dream,but I tried groaning in pain, then I realized that everything that had happened was real!

I started off through town. I stopped at the school to see if my child, Timmy, was there. I saw him with his classmates and a teacher. I tried to wave at him, but my arms could only go halfway up. My lower half of my face tried to split to form a word, even a sound, but it didn't come forth. I saw the teacher run inside and grab a camera. She sprinted back outside with a camera in hand and took a photo of me and the children, Timmy being the closest to me. Then they seemed to snap out of some trance, and then proceeded to shoo me away, I was shocked but I knew the teacher, so I started walking away, tears forming in my new occular lens that I wouldn't be able to see my Timmy again. Then I started getting angry, I got SO angry that I could feel something sprout from the suit that entrapped me. I looked over my shoulder and saw tentacles! Then the rage started coming back, and I thought "If I can't have my child, then NOBODY CAN!!!!"
