Sour splash

My round 1 entry to xodally's tournament on Skindex. This marks my first time to join a tourney.

I actually shaded the majority of this before I even asked to join, as I wasn't sure I had the motivation to finish. Despite my absence of posts for the past month, I have been trying to make skins. Though every time I tried, nothing came out right. My drive to make them had been kind of low, and I'd figured out that it may be partly due to over listening to music. I felt as if my overconsumption led to a lack of appreciation. So I decided to take a break. My goal was 1 week. 1 week without listening to music, as much as possible. Throughout this time, some of my favorite artists released singles. As tempting as it was to play them, I held out. Time passed, and the day to listen to music eventually came. When I played those songs, man, did they sound good. It felt refreshing. I could truly appreciate music again. I also regained motivation to finally finish a skin (or at least shade one). I may even have another reshade entry in the works. To anyone who constantly listens to music, take a break. As hard or easy as it sounds, it's worth it.
