This is my new skin the Spartan Warrior, if you are familiar with the Spartans at all they were some of the best fighters of the ancient world. Many people get confused with a Spartan and a Roman Soldier, this is a Real Spartan.


The Spartan Life:


The start to a average Spartans life was at birth you would have to take the baby to the General, and if the baby looked weak they would leave it to die but only the strong would live, then at the age of 5-8 they would be drafted to the military to start training. The normal training consisted of fights with others, training with weapons, very long marches through very rough terrain carrying weights, how to steal, and so forth. They also would live there till the age of around 33, then they could go do what they want but still have to live at the barracks.


War:


As Sparta was the most powerful city in ancient Greece they pretty much ruled Greece and defended it, and since they were so powerful wars were common place, and when they weren't at war they made sure the massive amount of slaves they had kept there place. The common Spartan gear consisted of a spear, shield, helmet, and sometimes shoulder plates/short-sword. Back in that time that was very little armor but the Spartans didn't need it, they were so skilled in battle that once 301 held the Persian for a day and killed 20,000 before the last one died.
