Once an actual human this creature was a scientist for S.E.A. co. which lost its last test site to a massive migration of sea creautures which caused the site to collapse and sink. All the chemicals in said site fell on the people and objects causing any living things to be spliced into the sea creatures around them. This poor man was spliced with the D.N.A. of a giant squid.
