This is my shot at the steampunk contest because I didn't go in the Halloween one. I noticed everyone was doing human characters so I thought I'd be different as usual. Spent a good 4 hours on this, I hope it gets somewhere!

There are a lot of features on the skin that you may not notice or are hidden by body parts. For example:
- Pipes going up from main body furnace to back of head and releasing steam
-Gears in armpits for arm movement
-Gears under body and on top of legs for leg movement
-Pipes releasing steam on top of body to power the gear under the head to move the neck
-Gears for wrist and ankle joints
-Gears on jaw bones for mouth movement
-Steam coming from end of tail
And many more!

I was originally going to make it a Steampunk Dragon, but fitting the wings in is always a hard job (learned that the hard way) and I thought it looked better without. I was also going to use the outer head texture as the whole head and have a large mouth but it just looked strange. Nonetheless I'm happy with how it turned out! ^^
