Gather around children, For I am about to tell you a tale that has lasted as long as time. It began when a storm rushed into the lands of CrystalGreen, the storm lasted day and night as the villages of CrystalGreen started to suffer by the horrid rain. But one child named Shelly wanted to see the rain for herself as her parents were asleep in the night, So the child crept down some stairs in her home and went to the front door which creaked and cracked with the harsh winds and rain that bashed at the door like it wanted to come in. Shelly reached out to unlock the door and open it up and take a peek at the harsh storm, But when she peaked out of the door, It slammed wide open and blew harsh winds and rain started to soak Shelly harshly, but what she saw was something that was not seeming to be real, But a creature that had the body of a human but with abnormal features that were hard to describe, There it was on all fours all skinny and boney, he had long strands of hair that was shaped of seaweed, and his eyes gave off a warm gold glow as it turned to the child who had stumbled and fell over due to the wind, The creature crept close to the child and gave off a gurgling purr, the child just looked to the creature in pure horror, After that one moment of terror the child got up on her feet and spoke in a spooked tone. "H-Hello...?" There was no reply, Just the creature gurgling in a soothing manner. The child then got closer, when she was close enough... The creature snatched her in its webbed fingers and started to run off into the harsh storm with the child who yelped and cried till she was submerged in the water by a beachside near the village. No one had seen the child since, But legend says that you can find her with the creature in torn sails as clothing.


(This is my first time making a monster skin, I hope it's acceptable.)
