Teddy [Contest]

Teddy's Story

Ever since the moment Bobby Jones was born, he and Teddy had been the best of friends. They went everywhere together - the playground, preschool, even the doctors'. The two were inseparable. Teddy had always been a bit different, what with only having one eye. One might say it was a manufacturing error, but Bobby thought of it as a manufacturing improvement.

But today was Bobby's fifth birthday, and he'd decided there was no need for stuffed animals anymore. He was a big kid now, and he had no time for things as silly and frivolous as a teddy bear.

Teddy watched the birthday party sadly from Bobby's bedroom window. If it had been a year ago, they would have been having fun together, pinning the tail on the donkey and whatnot.

Soon, Teddy's sorrow turned into rage. Bobby would pay for abandoning him.

3 days later

Teddy watched carefully as Bobby slept. Slowly, he crept up next to him, and you can imagine what happened next.

But instead of just killing Bobby, Teddy made a monster out of himself. The boy's blood mutated the bear's, and he watched himself grow bigger and bigger, muscles rippling.

Teddy was out of control. He ripped the clothing off of his once-best friend, and put them on himself as sort of a souvenir.

He leapt out of Bobby's window, into the dark woods behind the house.

Legend says that Teddy assembled a squad of discarded stuffed animals in the woods since that fateful day, but no one who ever set out to find out the truth has come back. Alive, at least.
